Alberto Recruitment (previously Legal Intel) was founded to better service the legal and business community in Tokyo. Initially specializing in corporate in-house legal recruitment, we are able to deliver better results to our clients and candidates with a strong focus on service quality, professionalism and integrity. In 2021, we changed our name in celebration of our 10th year anniversary and to better reflect the other areas we cover for our clients.


We firmly believe that we have the expertise and know-how to introduce the best people and fill open positions in Tokyo more efficiently than our competitors. Our market and industry knowledge, coupled with a strong knowledge of complex recruitment processes, ensures our clients and candidates receive expert service, advice and solutions.

For our clients, we are typically able to deliver resumes with candidate approval within 48 hours of receiving a job assignment. We not only provide standard search and placement services, but are also able to tailor our style to suit individual client requirements. We offer both a traditional contingency style search service as well as a retained search for particularly urgent or confidential assignments.

Our focus is to identify the best candidate for our client and to ensure candidates received genuine advice and assessment when deciding on a potential career move. 2011

Bringing a vision together

The company was started with one individual with a simple vision of providing clients and candidates with a better level of service in legal recruitment.

2012

Our 2nd expansion - Private Practice

We made our first step to growth by hiring additional members and by starting up our law firm recruitment function.

2013

Our 3rd expansion - Financial Services

We saw additional growth and expanded to handle legal & compliance within the financial services sector.

2014

Further growth with Accounting Recruitment Team

As part of our growth plans, we launched our accounting recruitment team. This came out of hard work, great passion for what we do and a vision to provide the same level of service to a greater number of clients and candidates.

2018

Further growth with Administative Recruitment

We grew our operations in 2018 to handle Admin & Support function positions to further service our clients.

2021

10th Year Anniversary

To mark our 10th year anniversary, we changed our name from Legal Intel to Alberto Recruitment. This is part of our plans to further expand our coverage area to better support clients in different sectors.

Our 3 Specialized areas

Our Legal Team specializes in the search and placement of qualified lawyers and non-qualified legal professionals into mid to top-tier international companies as well as support function staff into law firms.

Our Accounting Team exclusively handle finance and accounting positions in Tokyo and assist Japanese and international clients within the commercial sector.

We handle a wide variety of corporate sales roles for our clients from Account Executive to Sales Manager and Business Development positions.
